Hello and Welcome !
Chepstow and District Yacht Club is a small (48 member) sailing club, founded in 1949, based on the River Severn at Chepstow. The club has moorings at St. Pierre Pill on the river Severn/Bristol Channel and meets at 8 pm on the first Wednesday in the month, at the Athletic Club in the nearby village of Mathern - visitors welcome.
Our Club Programme
Throughout the year, the club runs an active social programme. In the season from April to October, there are club cruises for the members' fleet of cruising yachts. The emphasis is on having fun with a wide range of boats from 16' to 34' taking part, and members from all walks of life.

Dinghy Sailing
The club has an excellent slip for launching dinghies, and has moorings available if you wish to keep a dinghy afloat.
Visiting Yachts
Visitors are welcome to stay for a few days in the rural charm of our attractive moorings just off the Bristol Channel. We can offer few facilities, but lots of peace and quiet with the Millers Arms a short walk through the fields.
There is no overnight mooring charge, and for a small fee you can leave your boat on a mooring (at your own risk) whilst you explore the Black Mountains or the Wye Valley.
Just ask us first!
